Bio
I am a freelance makeup artist and educator, based in Toronto, Canada — but I'll take any opportunity to travel!
When I'm not doing clients makeup, you'll find me at Sephora, working on my own cosmetics line, exploring new makeup brands, or doing theatrical makeup. Basically I really like makeup.
Experience
My makeup career started in my university dorm room doing makeup for my roommates- all 5 of them. After graduating I jumped at the chance to work at Sephora where my beauty career started to shape.
At Sephora I quickly became a trainer and educator teaching other makeup artists and clients various techniques and product knowledge in one-on-one to large class style workshops. Through this program I was able to work with makeup artists including Anastasia Soare (Founder of Anastasia Beverly Hills), Mario Dedivanovic (the man behind the Kardashian family's iconic makeup looks), Samantha Ravndahl (beauty influencer) and countless other influencers, brand founders and celebrity makeup artists.
After 5 amazing years at Sephora, I recently decided to step away from the retail landscape and to focus on my personal career goals.
Expertise
Whether it's a major life event, a photoshoot, or you just want to learn some of my favourite makeup hacks I love sharing my tips and tricks. I truly believe makeup can be for everyone and love giving realistic beauty advice.
My makeup style is best described as natural, glowy and smoothing. If you're looking for that insta-glam glitter cut crease, or under eye "baking" then keep looking. I like skin that actually looks like skin and eyeshadow compliments your eye shape rather than hiding it. But hot damn, I have to admit that I cant resist a good highlight.
